I understand that IV has purchased a system (used at other places also). It may not be possible to configure it according to every requirement.
I don't think IV has the source code for the system. Even if they have the source code, it will take a while to modify it according to all requirements.

May be that is the reason you took offense when people commented on Bcom thing. An MBA is valuable only if your bachelors degree is valuable. Many people have this wrong notion that it does not matter what you have in your bachelors, if you get an MBA everything is all set. Companies need engineer + MBA combination. Very few companies hire MBAs for accounting work. DOn't confuse accounting with finance, they are different. I can tell you that for sure, as i work in finance.
Contents of MBA also matter, most people take easy way out by taking all bluff management, marketing and strategy courses. Very few take the hardcore finance courses such as derivatives, fixed income, and valuations (these courses could differ in level of difficulty based on school).
Are you one of those guys sitting in Wall Street with Ivy League studies getting all the high end knowledge, and to do what, screw the economies world over? Laloo did that to Bihar with minimal education. Sorry to see all your effort go waste when you could have achieved just as much, just by reading about Laloo :D.

As far as the fund drive is concerned I disagree that without the VB we would have not reached our goal We over 22.5K in 6 days. The VB provided a push but I am sure we could have collected the remaining 7.5K in 24 days.

I completely understand the situation. But believe me this bill not good for anyone but anti-immigrant. We need to fix the broken system and make sure the employee is not tied to the employer. To start any New Thread , we should check whether post is from monthly recurring payer, if so he gets to start new thread else for each new thread charge $1.

Sorry to hear about your loss of PD etc. However, the fact that you survived and still hanging in there shows you will prevail. On an optimistic note, the recently released USCIS data seem to suggest that their PD movement is more data driven this time and getting to your newer Eb2 PD, while it will still take time, may not be as long as previously thought especially in this economy with fewer applicants in general. I was pleasantly surprised to see them maintain EB2I cut off dates into Nov. If they set dates anything close to sensibly, they should never need to retrogress by many months or years like in the past. The article about low workloads at NSC recently was quite revealing. Whatever they say now, spillover will be substantial this year end in my view. Since they have finally since last year started to interpret spillover rules the way they were meant to be used, I think EB2I will be the primary beneficiary.
I would however have the following advice for you, in the interim while you are waiting, keep on them, follow up every RFE after you respond, follow every fingerprint with a phone call, get familiar with your congressman/womans immigration aide, open a service request if you are eligible to do so. In general get your case organised as much as possible before. If you get information that you were pre approved, that would be useful, but even then keep on them as soon as your PD is current. In general with the USCIS, assume they will make an error, if you can conceive that they will make one and sometimes even when you can't imagine how. I can certainly tell you they are not well organised.

@buddy thanks for this thoughtful insight, and i am also not looking forward to any transfers as i tried it with one employer who wanted to hire me but so late as it has been the procedure didn't get through.
Well about him not closing down shutters i know it would be difficult to indict him to that level, but even for him to hire an attorney and fight to save his A** would be a greater achievement and moreover once i am back to my native, i will blacklist him as much as i can in the forums and in the immigration voice. I will make it sure he doesn't get any goat to butcher from my native land any further.
All i am seeking here is that even if DOL launches a investigation and he loses his money over it during his trial and if everything goes well (as i am preparing every doc , every communication, every letter that he sent me to prove that these consultants are all looking for money no matter even if it comes in the form of someone's blood) my job would be done. Hopefully DOL will tighten some screws somewhere and maybe i can save one more like me to fall into the trap of this company.
I would be constantly working to make sure if someone types his name , my reviews of his blacklist appears before his company website, i have done many SEOs for many companies and my friends i am capable of destroying him at least over the internet and i shall see to it that happens.
Maybe he took a bigger fish than he could swallow this time.:-)

After 6 yrs on H1 with pending AOS, if 485 gets denied, H1 is not renewd. So far so good....
I am under impression that aftet the denial, person still has whatever time left on his H1 to stay and work till H1 expires. No futher extension will be possible due to denial.
Is above statement wrong????
I had checked with my attorney, he had mentioned that I could keep on working till my H1 expired.... I will recheck with him.

I do not have link right now, but I guess I found it on some lawyers website, posted link on IV in some other thread.

I recently saw one case where an H1B application was reopened. The LUD was updated even after being approved more than a year ago. The reason was that the company had applied for an L1 visa for another applicant and the case received an RFE and all other immigration cases of the company came under review. The new L1 visa case was denied but the old H1B approval for another applicant did not get any denial or RFE. So make sure you work for a good company and have a clean immigration case, else there are some scares along the way.Thanks Pappu.

As you rightly said, each case is different so it is very difficult to generaize. I did google for any similar situation, but found out that all of the cases which were reopened were for I-765 , I-485 and may be as u pointed out for I-140.

There has been no fraud, mis-interpretation, complaint on my part and the niether did the law firm nor the US insurance firm...I am confident about that....
Lets see what the notice says..and I will update everyone of the findings...
