All I 94 - does this mean all the I 94's you ever had or the I 94 that currently is in your possession.
I do not have copies of all the I 94's that were issued to me since my stay in US .. any body any thoughts?
Be ready with the following supporting documents. My attorney asked the following:
1. Personal Details -
(Travel Plans in the next 3 months, Moving Plans in the next 6 months, Contact Information, Passport and I-94 info, Employment Hisotry - Last 5 years+ Last job ouside US, Residence History - Last 5 years + last residence outside US, LC, I-140, EAD and details, and a few other questions, etc)
2. Passport copies- all pages, current, all old.
3. All I-20, I-94, I-797, LC, I-140 copies
4. Birth Certificates or Birth Affidavits
5. Marriage Certificate or Marriage Affidavits -
6. Sealed Medical Exam Cover - I-693

This is like playing with people's minds. I really dont care at this point if I get my GC or not. I hope people who create this kind of havoc die a rotten death.:mad:

seems like, now its 98% final and to me its 100% final that I have missed the bus, though I bought tickets for the bus and bus company is refusing to payback the ticket money to me

just a question on #2 above - if you are filing second AOS with EVL, why not just withdraw the first AOS once you get the receipt? Wouldn't this be safer?

Thanks for your reply. Yes you are right but though I had the choice I was not allowed to enter on H1. Now when my AP is expiring on 01/26/2007 would it mean I may go out of status even if I have a valid h1 till 06/01/2007?

If a bad person who is going to fail a name check is already in the country, then name checks are not going to deter him from doing his thing. Just because a name check is pending without a GC means nothing to a potential bad guy.
If a foreigner tries to become a governor or tries to join a govt agency he goes through a lot more special screening than just name checks. It should be up to the FBI to fail or pass a name check and all benefits should be revoked if the FBI fails a name check. This is going to be rare and there is no need to fight the battle for somebody who fails a name check (which is where your argument is so extremely stupid). It happens in other spheres too, sometimes people lose their jobs after many years if the company finds that you falsified information like degree etc.
I am not going to stretch this discussion beyond this as it seems to me spiraling out of limits of reason. Of all the things you said to support your argument, the first part of your latest mail will kill any support you might get from any normal person. From your arguments I think may be you should change your name to "stupiddesi". YOu would even clear your namecheck easily; or may be not - too many of them ;-)

I couldn't believe. Got CPO and Welcoming New Resident emails for me and my son after 10 years.
All Glory and Praise to my Lord Jesus Christ.
Got the Text message on my mobile on Thursday Oct 22, at 7:45 pm. But didn't see it until 23rd morning at 9:00 am. Went to church on Thursday morning, and Friday morning, and prayed ardently. Came out of the church, and just opened my cell phone, and saw the text message from uscis saying "Your case # is updated. check 'My case status' on USCIS Home Page (http://www.uscis.gov)... ".
Got the email also on Thursday evening, but saw only on Friday morning.
Mine is at TSC, spouse's moved to local USCIS a few months back, for an interview.
Went to local uscis at 3:35, but it was closed. Hope my spouse's case also approved soon by the end of this week.
Thanks a bunch to IV, will continue to give my support to IV.

It was on Dec 2005 . Luftansa . Chennai - Frankfurt- Dallas . I was waiting for my boarding pass . I handed over my e ticket to the lady at the counter. Instead of issuing the boarding pass , she asked me about my H1B papers. I got confused . Why should I show my papers to this lady ? . Since it was my very first trip to US , I meekly showed her my papers.After that she had issued the boarding pass.
Friends, you may think I am very meek.This was not my first overseas trip. I had visited Japan previously. I didn't want to have fight with her and start my journey in bitter taste from the beginning.

All we need is just 233,816(page 2) visas(forget about country limit, EB category etc). In that case in 2 years we will have 280,000(140,000 * 2) visas. So should we all get GC in two years with that logic.

It will not help. Your aliases will be checked too. If you look at the names of 3000 or people stuck in name check, it is mostly Indians, Chinese, Russsians and a smattering of some Arab names from all over the world including middle east and Africa. Most are men. Evidently, this is racial and religious profiling based on "classified criterion". It will be interesting if AILA files a class action suit against FBI/USCIS by a whole class of people targetted, who in most cases have nothing to do with any crime.

Just now (12.30 PM EST) I got a mail from USCIS saying your application has been approved. I didn't do anything (never opened SR or contacted Senator) but last week I did had an info pass appointment which was useless. MY PD was Feb 2005 EB2 INDIA (The fun part is My AP and EAD are still pending for over 4 months)

In such trying times its awesome to find individuals in the media willing to lend a receptive ear to the hardships faced by all of us and write a wonderful news article on it. Its even more significant especially because when people who should be listening to our concerns and who have the ability to address these issues have turned deaf ears.
She and other media personnel who have helped highlight this issue deserve at least a thank you note.
