This is my new employer asking me sign this document called "time sheet agreement"...would it stand in the court of law, say I left the job and could they come after me with this paper?
here is the 80% of whats in there with company called (name changed) Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company :D

If the employee wishes to terminate his/her services with Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company, he/she agrees to assist Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company in fulfilling the contract terms that Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company signed with client like notice period etc. The client peanilizes Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company if he/she leaves the project abruptly without sufficient notice. Employee is responsible for all monetary penalties the client will enforce on Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company because of his/her action.
Employee agrees not to transfer billing to another firm and / or accept payments from another firm or the primary vendor or mid vendor for the project you are currently working will be working in future. Employee agrees not to solicit directly or indirectly Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company�s client and vendors.
Employee is responsible for the accuracy of the time sheet submitted for payroll. If Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company pays you and we did not get the money from the client, he/she are responsible to reimburse Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company all the amount that is under dispute within 5 business days. Employee is responsible for all the legal and administrative costs (attorney, collections etc) for enforcing the above terms. All disputes will be settled according to the laws of the sate of NJ.
Employee agrees to reimburse Nathuram-daulathram-desi-Company any and all over payments made to you within 5 business days. If you fail to do so, then the employee agrees to pay the legal costs involved in enforcing the same.
The above costs are difficult to calculate and will be based on our approximations.

I signed contract on my house and now looking for a mortgage. I�m looking at eLoan, LendingTree, credit union and a few banks/lenders listed in Bankrate.com.
I would appreciate if you can share any information regarding any of the lenders, your experience dealing with them or any other useful information which will help me make a informed decision.

It does not charge some of the fees - like the appraisal fees, etc + reasonable, competitive rates. They also guarantee to get all of the closing done within a certain period of time, which they usually beat by at least a couple of days! We have our mortgage with them presently. There is also Sallie Mae Home Loans (http://https://www.smhl.com/index.html)! We had our first home loan with them, but then they sold it to AmTrust Bank (http://https://www.amtrust.com/Personal/Pages/home.aspx) formerly known as Ohio Savings Bank. Our rates or anything else did not change. We live in AZ.
You should window-shop around as much as you can, but remember to initiate all of your inquiries within a 2-week period - so it is counted as a single hit on your credit history!
Discussing all aspects of mortgage - there is an excellent resource, The Mortgage Professor (http://http://www.mtgprofessor.com/) ! As immigrants, we have to share all info we can, the kind of info that is usually shared between family/ friends if you stay where you were born!

I got my FP apt on 12/14. There was no lud on my 485. I had opened SR for fp in october, but didnt help. Then I used the POJ method to get hold of IO at TSC on 12/7 and she created one for me, the notice date on FP says 12/7. Hope this helps.

This is a million dollars question on everybody's mind. Although the books says you can, I bet no body will take the risk.
Nobody can predict when July filer will get AP too.
There is a good chance I am taking this risk. But if there is any hope I will wait. Contrary to that if there is no hope I don't want to keep waiting until July next year for AP.

It takes one week to get the visa stamped. I did it and went to India in August. They will schedule FP for you in a location close to you.

I need urgent advice from you. As you know my wife is on F1 visa and completed most of her credit hours needed by school. She has get only 1 credit hr to complete the course. However, that�s below 9 hr full time student status. She has been asked to register for additional 8 hrs..and pay tuition fee accordingly ( > 8K). Which I think is unreasonable. They told her that if she doesn�t register by tomorrow they have to report it to INS. She told them that she has EAD..there answer doesn�t matter in order to remain in school and F1 visa she has to register.
My questions is:
1) Can she continue working on her Thesis on her EAD and AP ?
2) What will happen to her f1 if she use EAD
In response to these questions my Lawyer said
1.) yes, she can continue to be a student as an adjustment applicant � she can work using the EAD and travel using the AP.
2) she is basically no longer an F-1 because she has demonstrated immigrant intent by filing the adjustment. Which is fine � she has valid legal status as an adjustment applicant and can work with the EAD and travel with the AP.
What do pro�s think..:)

How is this possible, EB3 ROW also has a limit to how many they can use correct? They only can use what ever is beyond the 7 % used for India/China/Mexico/Phil (28% in total). Out of 1/3 of the 140K.

You file a new labor with the new employer - once it is approved - you need to file a new I-140 application and attach the old approved application with it - this would ensure that your PD will become the PD from the old case.
Difference with AC21 is - in the case of AC21, you just switch jobs and your current GC process continues - you do not have to file a new labor,140 etc.

It makes no difference whether they allow concurrent filing of 140/485 or not IF YOUR EMPLOYER IS WILLING to pay extra premium processing for 140. IF not , it makes minimal difference (2-3 months delay). Earlier this year, people were getting 140 approved on 6-8 weeks on average without premium fee.
If your date is not current:
This rule makes 0 difference. File 140 and wait for approval while your date moves forward. Once its current, file 485. So everyone who is retrogressed, this rule makes no difference to you 485 filing and getting EAD/AP.
If your date is current: File 140, regular processing 2-3 months and then file 485. If you can get premium processing done then it would be 15 days and then file 485. Either ways, you are delay in filing 485 by 2-3 months. In the grand scheme of things, its negligible. It would take even 2 months for your lawyer to get the paperwork straight for filing 485.
So please relax, this new rule that does not allow concurrent filing of 485 and 140 is not earth-shattering. Its a revenue generation move. And its good as long as revenue stays in USCIS as they do need revenue to hire more people to process files faster, which is in our own benefit. The only problem we have is the rise in fees generates revenue which often times does not stay with USCIS and goes away to other agencies of DHS(I think, this was mentioned in CIS Ombudsman report, if I am not wrong).
SO if USCIS wants to make a new rule of filing I485 for the one whose I 140 is cleared and priority date is not current, It CAN DO That RULE Right?
